This privacy policy describes the practices of IDL Workshop, LLC d/b/a 10storymath (“IDL”) regarding the personal information that is collected by our IDL Learning Management System, and the websites on which it is currently hosted, www.idlworkshop.com, www.10storymath.com, and go.10storymath.com (collectively, the “Website”).

IDL is committed to protecting the privacy of our users’ data. Among other things:

- We only use the data that you share with us to provide our educational services, to improve our services, and to keep you updated about improvements and changes to our services.

- We do not sell or otherwise share any of your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

- We do not use third party cookies or other tracking technology that allow third parties to track your activities on the Website.

The Types of Users of the Website

IDL classifies each user of the Website as being an administrator, facilitator, or participant. Administrators are adult users with overall administrative responsibility for the use of the Website by a school, group, or other provider of educational services. Facilitators are adult users selected by an administrator to guide and facilitate one or more participants’ use of our workshops, including the online portions and progress tracking facilities provided by the Website. Participants are the individual users of our workshops and Website, generally (but not necessarily) school-age children.

The Information We Collect and Store

For administrators, we collect and store the user’s name, contact email address, the name, address and telephone contact number of the administrator’s school or other place of business, and a username and password selected by the administrator. For purchases made by administrators via credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or other third party payment providers, additional information (including financial information) may be collected, to the extent required by the specific provider.

For facilitators, we collect and store the user’s name, contact email address, the name of the facilitator’s school or other place of business, and a username and password selected by the facilitator and/or the facilitator’s administrator. For purchases made by facilitators via credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or other third party payment providers, additional information (including financial information) may be collected, to the extent required by the specific provider.

For participants, we collect and store the user’s name; the name, telephone number, email address, and relationship to the participant of their parent or legal guardian; and a username (or “screen name”) and password selected by the participant or the participant’s facilitator or administrator. Certain learning modules provided by IDL include online elements, which require participants to enter or upload text, drawings, photographs, or other data and information to the Website, where they are collected and stored. The Website also tracks and stores each participant’s activity and progress within each learning module in which they participate.

We use cookies, beacons, tags, and/or scripts to make it easier for you to navigate the Website, to track the manner in which users access and use the Website, and to administer, improve and enhance the Website and our users’ experience. As users access and make use of the various features of the Website, we automatically collect and store certain information in session logs. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We do not use third party cookies or other tracking technology that allow third parties to track user activities on the Website.

The Information We Disclose

We disclose information collected from participants to their associated facilitators and administrators. If multiple participants are working together as a team in connection with a particular learning module, the entered and uploaded text, drawings, photographs, or other data and information furnished by each participant may be shared with other participants in the same team. With the permission of a parent or legal guardian, participants may also be permitted to share aspects of their work and progress in learning modules with relatives, friends, or others specifically identified by the parent or guardian.

To the extent necessary required to complete purchases made via the Website, we may disclose certain financial information of administrators, facilitators, or their businesses or institutions, such as credit card data and billing names and addresses. We may also disclose information collected from all users to those who provide support services to is, such as IT service providers. As indicated above, we do not sell or otherwise share any of personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

We reserve the right to disclose the personal information of our users if we are required to do so by law, court order, or legal process. We also reserve the right to transfer the personal information we collect as a part of the sale of our business or our assets, or pursuant to a merger of IDL with another business entity.

Child Privacy Protection

Among other things, this policy is intended to comply with the requirements of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”). While those laws are directed to protecting the personal information of children under 13, our privacy practices apply to all participants who use the Website, regardless of their age.

Administrators and facilitators are solely responsible for complying with COPPA’s requirement to secure prior parental consent for all participants accessing the Website. If you are an administrator or facilitator creating participant user accounts on behalf of a school or school district, you must certify at the time of creation of each participant’s user account that you have obtained the requisite parental consent. If you are an administrator or facilitator creating participant user accounts other than on behalf of a school or school district, you are required, at the time of creation of each participant’s account, to upload a copy of a signed parental consent, in a format previously approved by IDL.

In compliance with FERPA, upon the request of a parent or legal guardian, administrators may obtain a report of our entire record for their child participant, and may instruct us to permanently delete the child’s record.
