What Is PRISM Pet Supply?

PRISM Pet Supply: Grand Opening is a collaborative, story-based Math Lab where students become the newest team members at a pet store preparing for its big launch in Petville.

Over 15–20 hours of hands-on challenges, students design blueprints, create signs, build displays, measure spaces, and solve real problems using area, perimeter, arrays, and multiplication. Everything needed—materials, slides, videos, student pages, and teacher guides—comes in the kit.

What Students Do

In PRISM Pet Supply, students work in teams to prepare a brand-new pet store for its grand opening. Every challenge is math-powered and story-driven.

Why PRISM Works

PRISM Pet Supply is grounded in learning science and classroom-tested in districts across the country. It turns abstract measurement and multiplication into concrete, meaningful work.

Hands-On

Students manipulate real materials, build physical models, and use tools to measure, compare, and calculate.

Collaborative

Teams solve authentic design challenges together so every student has a role and a voice.

Story-Driven

The Petville storyline gives students a reason to care. They’re not just filling out worksheets—they’re preparing a store for real customers.

Built for All Learners

Concrete, visual, and multi-step tasks create accessible entry points for a wide range of learners.
